Enhancing Device CVE Exploration
In our efforts to improve user experience, I recently worked on updating and expanding the feature for exploring device CVEs. One key addition is Workaround Insights – a new tool designed to provide users with actionable information on device-specific workarounds.
Improving the Existing Panel
To enhance this feature, I refined its design to better match our existing site's aesthetic. This ensured that the updated panel would feel consistent and intuitive for all users.
Connecting Backend Elements
A crucial aspect of Workaround Insights was integrating it with data from the device table via their API. By establishing these backend connections, we can fetch relevant information in real-time, allowing users to access workarounds for CVEs on their devices quickly and efficiently.
Visual Enhancements
Workaround Insights features a new layout that makes it easier for users to view available workarounds for each device. This streamlined display helps users identify potential security risks and take targeted measures.
